When you go toe-to-toe with a king salmon, you'll feel like you're
in the middle of a heavyweight title fight. And now is a great time to get
into a brawl with these kings of Lake Michigan. Salmon numbers are skyrocketing
and the fishing really heats up in mid-summer. July and August are excellent
months. In fact, when conditions are right, it's not uncommon to take a
limit of kings in only a couple of hours of trolling! Door County offers
quantity and quality with the state record king coming from these waters
